Yet Another Blow for Boeing

With the fresh new order cancellations for 737, there is a fresh new blow of 8 Billion Dollars to the Company.

It was in March 2019 that the Aviation World has seen yet another fateful tragedy, another 737 Max aircraft has gown down. This Incident has really blown up the image of the aircraft to the entire World. An aircraft once popular for many of the carriers has now being seen as a potential threat to the Carrier's reputation. Starting April, the companies started removing this aircraft from its fleet, it started with one company and slowly many of the companies started grounding the aircraft until they were assured of its safety directly from Boeing. But things were going differently for Boeing, with the top management doubting the CEO's stand during the Crisis, and with fierce opposition directly from the Senate during the provisional hearing. The company wasn't really sure whether they would trust thier CEO during this crisis. So finally the Board removes Dennis Muleinburg from his position and replace him with David Calhoun, by far the things had been better with the newest CEO with the Final Certifications being Scheduled for 737 during late of May. There was still a hope that the aircraft would return to the skies during late of September. This however has changed with the current COVID 19 Virus that has hit the entire World, with the USA accounting more than a Million affected this has hit the Economy to a much greater extent. Further pushing back the Certifications until everything turns normal.

Just yesterday the company has faced yet another setback, one of the carriers named Avolon, has cancelled the orders for 737 Max Aircraft. This order was for 8 Billion Dollars. Which will further reduce the valuation of the company. But, this isn't the only line of aircrafts that has faced problems, the most popular 787 Dreamliners are also facing Engine Problems, while the much anticipated 777x lineup are running behind the schedule. Let's hope that the situation gets better so that the company is able to perform better in near future.
