Loss in Aviation Industry

Updated: Apr 24, 2021

Aviation is considered to be one of the most impacted Industry in this pandemic era.

It was in February that the Aviation Market started getting hit, with the Coronavirus Cases rising in majority of the countries, and with many of the countries restricting the International Flights, it was the first big blow to the Industry.

Come March and everything started changing, with more countries implementing bans on International travellers, the companies slowly started grounding their aircrafts. With April seen more grounding of aircrafts than in the previous months. There was a time when hardly 2% of the passengers flights were being operated.

In this challenging times it were cargo aircrafts that played a major role in transporting essential products and items from countries to countries. They were the major backbones of supplies in different parts of the World.

But still the loss in the Aviation Industry is a lot greater than any other Industry: -

a. Many of the Aircrafts were discontinued from services even before their retirement years.

b. Many of the employees lost their jobs as companies have no revenue to pay them.

c. The aircraft manufacturers are bleeding a lot of cash and are eyeing on reducing their production.

Hope this pandemic ends soon and we see the flights flying in the sky once again!!!
