If you are an explorer and an avid traveller, you must have heard of the mammoth jewel in the Changi Airport of Singapore. Talking about the geography, Singapore is an island country situated in the southern Indian Ocean which means that the country doesn't have enough land to accommodate every thing that a developed country might need, however this isn't the case here, Singapore is known for its development all over the World, the country has done some unique projects in the past that previously was considered impossible. But, Hey its Singapore where anything is possible.

Today lets talk about one of the pieces of infrastructure without which a country cannot run, the Airport. Taking you to a short journey in the past and talk a little on the terminals that this airport has:

  • Terminal 1: Opened in 1981, located in the Northern side.

  • Terminal 2: Opened in 1990, located in the Eastern side.

  • Terminal 3: Opened in 2003, located in the Western side.

  • Terminal 4: Opened in 2017,located in the Southern side.

Now, one of the most important highlights is the Jewel, (as you can see in the image), it was made with an objective to make the journey of the travellers more comfortable. Some of the features that are included in the jewel are: -

  • A waterfall which is humungus

  • Shops.

  • Forests.

Now, that's impressive isn't it, I mean who puts a Waterfall and an Indoor Forest in the airport. But guess what, its Singapore and they are really ambitious. Thats the reason why the airport is been given The Best Airport Award for 8 consecutive years, by Skytrax.
