Weird Aircrafts: B- 2 Stealth

In this series of Blogs, i want to talk about some of the weird looking aircraft's, don't get it wrong, they are weird but they all serve some purpose for a Country. Lets Start!!!

What do you think is the most important thing for a Country, is it Development or the GDP index? Well the first and for most is the protection then comes all other points which a country needs to sustain itself. And what better word can we think of other than the defense? You see ,When a country is at war almost 80-90 percent of all its revenues goes to the defense , and every country needs to protect itself from the risk of losing a war, so the country spends its revenues to gain the best equipment's to protect itself.

The time was 1980's when every country had a treat of War with the other countries, at that time USA was trying its best to protect its territories from the foreign Invaders, during that time, Since the technology wasn't there the manufacturers were struggling to build an Aircraft that could not be detected by the radars and could easily target the enemies in a foreign land, many designs and aircraft's were made but none of them was successful, there was a Man called Northrop* who identified a way through which the radars can't detect an Aircraft( By absorbing the signals sent by a radar). He developed an Aircraft that could meet all the requirements of US at that time. And in 1989, it was when this beast had taken its first flight.

Now you would ask what were the requirements at that time? There were three major things as follows:-

1. To develop an Aircraft that could be undetected by the Radars

2. To carry all the Major Missiles to strike off an enemy's land.

3. To be as fast to get unnoticed.

All of these three major Requirements were met and the Aircraft was handed over to the US Air force and they still continue to operate such aircraft's.

* Name isn't sure, it may be Jack Northrop and his other partner.
