Weird Aircrafts 3: Lockheed Martin sr-71

One of the Weirdest Aircraft's that looks like a Rocket is the Lockheed Martin's sr-71 after being coined as "Blackbird"( for its color and its ability to not being seen easily by the radars) this aircraft has made a news for itself in the recent past for being the fastest aircraft in the world that coud cruise upto to 85000ft and the speed of Mach 3.

This aircraft was designed by the Shunk Works( A unit of Lockheed's ) to help the US army develop the Stealth capability( B-2 Bomber is based in this concept). Due to its high speed and a larger elevation capabilities it was at most of the times missed by the surface to air missiles. Eventually the production of these aircraft's started increasing and as the result many strategic missions were started. However its high speeds make it more hungry for fuel. So, finally after some years these aircraft's started getting retired and in the present world you will only find it in Some Museums.
