When Boeing was developing the aircraft it had found out some issues pertaining to the aircraft. One of which was the engine. You see every aircraft has to balance the weight in all the directions , so if one of the areas is still unbalanced the plane is forced to move to that direction.Coming back to the topic the engines in this aircraft were actually a bit heavier then the older generation and also the engines are attached a little front in this aircraft due to which the nose of the aircraft is heavier and its tail lighter.
Due to heavier nose, the aircraft would be in nose up position in the air, this would cause the aircraft to stall. So to tackle the issue of heavier nose the Boeing team developed what was called as a MCAS Software. This software would analyze the times when the aircraft goes to nose up position and it automatically brings the nose down. In the reports that s being generated the MCAS Software was to blame for the fatal drowning of the two aircraft's
So the story goes on like this:- When the pilots were taking off, the MCAS Software detected that the nose was up so it pulled the nose back again , the pilots tried to gain the control of the aircraft but the MCAS was putting the nose down time and again. There was a huge confusion in the cockpit while the above procedure followed till the time when the aircraft went out of control and crashed.
However the actual reports by Investigators hasn't been generated, so the above theory is just a assumption of what would have happenend.
