Its been said that the Travel Industry is one of the most promising Industry in major countries in the World. But this changes when there is a kind of Emergency occuring in the World, there are lots of changes when this sudden occurance happens once in a decade and there is nothing less than a Shockwave that the Country faces from Economic Slowdown to rising of debts. Some similar kind of pehnomenon is happening around the World these days, all thanks to Coronavirus, this has brought
Trembled every Major Industry in the World, from IT to Retail. However the severely Impacted amongst all is the Aviation Industry. With major Carriers cancelling the Flights and Air travel. It has been estimated from the reports being released by CAPA, that the Aviation Industry will suffer a loss of not less than 121Billion Dollars this Financial Year, this will force many airlines to Shutdown thier Operations if no Financial Aid will be granted.
This will seriously be a troublesome situation, for the Governments and the Airlines together.
If you are Still confused think of this from a different point of View, lets say you are A Flight Carrier who has been Serving in Europe and Asia. Everything is going well till 1st Week of March, you are earning fairly well. Everything is Fine until this point when suddenly start getting news that few of the airports have ceased their Operations. You can't help it but to cease your operations in those routes. Since, its only few airports you don't worry much, as Majority of the airports you are serving are already operational. Life goes on fine until few days later, you start realizing that majority of the countries have started lock down, this means that the aircraft's won't be able to land in those destinations any longer. This is a grave threat as there won't be any revenues to clear off the expenses for your company. But, you are helpless, you can only pray for the best and hope that the lock down ends sooner.
This is the dilemma that majority of the airlines are facing, with no revenues they are unable to pay for the basic expenses. This may result in company using their reserves to pay off the expenses, which may be threatening in long term. It may result in collapse of the company leaving thousands of jobs in danger.
Lets hope that this pandemic ends sooner so that we can see aircraft's up in the sky back again.
